After the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro was released, it is now the turn of the Redmi 8A leak to appear on the TENAA certification site.
It appears that this smartphone with a model number M1908C3KE will use an Octa-Core 2 GHz processor as its brain. While RAM with a choice of 2 GB, 3 GB, and 4 GB will accompany the processor’s performance.
This smartphone internal storage will have three choices consisting of 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB. But if the capacity is deemed lacking, then users can add microSD up to 512 GB.
Looks like in the affairs of the chipset, Redmi 8A will experience an increase compared to Redmi 7A which uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 Octa-Core chipset. But the question is, will it still use Snapdragon or try MediaTek?
From the battery sector, Redmi 8A will also have a capacity of 5,000 mAh which has increased compared to Redmi 7A which is only 4,000 mAh. At the time of testing, Redmi 7A already has a long battery life, especially Redmi 8A will be longer because of its greater capacity.
Concerning photography matters, the Redmi 8A will be equipped with a 12 MP resolution rear camera that can produce images properly. While the front camera has a resolution of 8 MP that can accommodate selfies or video calls.
The screen itself will have a width of 5.45 inches with HD + resolution (1520 x 720 pixels). But not yet known, whether this smartphone will use bangs at the top or still maintain a large bezel at the top and bottom.
Meanwhile, the Redmi 8A will have dimensions of 156.3 x 75.4 x 9.4 mm and a weight of 188 grams. Later this device will also be available in several color choices consisting of White, Green, Purple, Gray, Red, Blue, and Pink.
Android 9 Pie operating system will be directly embedded in this smartphone. Based on the leaks that circulated, Redmi 8 will be launched on September 24, 2019 together with the presence of Xiaomi Mi MIX 4.
