OPTICXCESS — Tencent Gaming Buddy Minimum Specifications
In this post, we want to share how the minimum specifications needed to play PUBG Mobile using Tencent Gaming Buddy on laptops and PCs. We will review the most appropriate specifications to be able to play smoothly without lag.
Playing PUBG Mobile using the Tencent Gaming Buddy emulator does provide its own preoccupation. In addition, we can use a wider screen, we are also freer to make movements using the keyboard and mouse.
For friends who are accustomed to playing FPS games on PC, they will definitely feel dissatisfied if they have to play using two thumbs on the cellphone screen, which is not too big. It feels less relieved and makes the eyes tired quickly.
So the presence of Tencent Gaming Buddy as the official emulator to play PUBG Mobile is indeed an entertainer for us PC gamers.
Tencent Gaming Buddy Minimum Specifications For Laptops and PCs
CPU (Processor) For Tencent Gaming Buddy
To be able to play PUBG Mobile using this emulator, we must use a laptop or PC that has a minimum Intel Dual Core or AMD processor with a base clock speed of 1.8 GHz and above. It is not recommended to use the processor below if you want to play smoothly without lag.
If you have a laptop with an i3, i5, or higher processor then that’s better, and you can use it to play. Just set the settings in accordance with the RAM and GPU only.
In terms of graphics processing, the minimum specifications required by Tencent Gaming Buddy are NVIDIA Geforce 8600 / 9600GT, ATI / AMD Raden HD2600 / 3600. With this VGA or the equivalent, we can play smoothly at 720p resolution.
To be able to play at 1080p resolution we need a minimum VGA NVIDIA GTX 660 Ti or AMD RX 470 and above. If you want to play at 2K resolution which currently supports, we need at least NVIDIA GTX 1050 or AMD RX 550 and above.
RAM For Tencent Gaming Buddy
The minimum specification of This Software in terms of RAM is 3 GB. But it is strongly recommended to use RAM at least 4 GB, bigger is better. If you have 4 GB of RAM you can still play smoothly using low to mid settings depending on the power of the CPU and GPU.
For those who have 4 GB of RAM, it is also advisable to increase the size of virtual memory on a PC or laptop. This virtual memory will be very useful as an extension of RAM when playing PUBG Mobile using Tencent Gaming Buddy
Operating System (OS)
The minimum specification of This emulator in terms of this operating system is unlikely to be a problem. PUBG Mobile can be played smoothly on OS Windows 7, Windows 8, 8.1, and Windows 10. There is no significant difference whether you are using Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10 OS.
This emulator does not take up too much HDD space. Officially the required space is only 1 GB, but in my experience, 1 GB is not enough. At least we have to provide about 4 – 5 GB of free space.
DirectX version 9.0
In order to play PUBG Mobile using Tencent Gaming Buddy we also have to install DirectX at least version 9.0 which functions as a rendering engine.
It seems like that’s all the minimum specifications we have to meet to play PUBG Mobile on PC. The rest just fiddling with the settings.
