OPTICXCESS — Optimizing MEmu Setting No Lag No Slow
What is the most effective setting so that all heavy games can be played on MEmu smoothly, with no lag, and no slow? In this article, we will share tips on how to optimize the MEmu emulator settings so that you can play smoothly and comfortably.
Optimizing MEmu Setting No Lag
Setting Emulator resolution according to the monitor used
The first thing we have to set is the resolution. We have to match the resolution of our monitor with the resolution on MEmu.
The trick is to simply enter the settings menu by pressing the gear bar tool on the right. At the resolution, select mobile, then match the resolution with our monitor resolution.

The purpose of equalizing this resolution is so that when the game is played full-screen the image is not broken or blurry. If it turns out that when you play there is a lag then you can experiment to lower your ME resolution to a level that is still comfortable in your opinion, which is important when playing is not lagging.
Increase RAM and CPU allocations
The next step to optimizing MEmu settings is to increase the RAM and CPU allocation on the emulator. If MEmu is used to play games that are heavy enough, then we can increase the number of cores allocated to MEmu.
For example, I have 12 cores, and to play games like PUBG Mobile or Rules of Survival I use half of them on MEmu. The results are quite satisfying, I can play games very smoothly without any lags and breaks at all.
For RAM, it can be allocated according to the RAM we have, leaving only 1 GB or 2 GB for the system (windows). If you have 8 GB of RAM, you can allocate 6 GB for MEmu.
Adjust graphic render mode
Next to Optimizing MEmu Setting is In the Graphics section, I recommend using OpenGL as the graphic renderer. Especially for those of you who use AMD Radeon VGA. Because according to my experience who is also an AMD VGA user, when using OpenGL it feels like game performance is better than using DirectX.
If using OpenGL, it turns out that a bug appears such as a mic that doesn’t want to connect, slow game rendering, or other bugs, it can be changed to DirectX.

In certain games, this bug can occur due to unsuitable graphics renderers. So please my friends do an experiment to find which one feels most suitable.
Optimizing MEmu Setting No Lag is Setting Frame rate
The frame rate setting can be set to 60 FPS so that gameplay becomes smoother. But if it turns out that your laptop’s performance is not capable of playing at 60 FPS, it can be lowered to 30 FPS.
We’ve tried several games like PUBG Mobile, it’s still comfortable to play at 30 FPS.
Close other unnecessary applications when playing GAME with the MEmu emulator
To optimizing the MEmu settings that we have done above, the final step is to close all unnecessary running applications. Including applications that run in the background.
You can use the task manager to do this. End unnecessary application tasks when playing using MEmu. Leave it all the windows system needs to stay up.
Usually, the application that often makes it slow and laggy is the browser because it takes up a lot of RAM, especially if the browser is opening lots of tabs let alone downloading. So it is not recommended to play games with MEmu while browsing, especially if your laptop specs are mediocre.
