Reportedly the main camera on the Galaxy S11 Plus will have a resolution of 108MP, larger than most other smartphone camera sensors. Ice Universe said that Samsung will use a new sensor that has the same number of pixels, and is more advanced than ISOCELL Bright HMX. Reportedly this camera will not only have 2.4μm in size but will also produce 12MP images by default. It’s a kind of pixel binning technology that combines 9 pixels into 1 and not just 4 pixels, resulting in a 27MP Bright HMX output.
